World of Warcraft, South Park Cosplayer Jarod Nandin Passes Away at 40
With a history as long-running every bitWorld of Warcraft, the popular MMO has spawned a massive community that has connected to venture through the game for over fifteen years. Nonetheless, theWoW customs has unfortunately lost ane notable member this past week in the wake of the COVID-nineteen pandemic.
Jarod Nandin, a cosplayer well-known for his spot-on recreation of the infamousWorld of Warcraft player fromSouth Park, passed abroad this week at the historic period of xl due to complications from COVID-19. In December 2022, Nandin had posted through his social media channels that he had contracted the virus simply remained upbeat and positive while hospitalized, earlier passing away on Lord's day, January 3, 2022.
By BlizzCon host Michele Morrow–who had met previously met Nandin–shared a tweet thread with photos of Nandin at various events donning his signature cosplay. She also highlighted how many in the World of Warcraft community were holding up their "Sword of a Thousand Truths" in accolade of his memory.

Nandin was an icon of World of Warcraft, specifically known for his cosplay as "South Park Guy" inspired by the series' flavour 10 episode "Make Beloved, Not Warcraft." Nandin made several appearances at events such as BlizzCon as the character while also interacting with others throughout theGlobe of Warcraft customs at events and conventions effectually the land.
