WHAT IS JSA Summertime SCHOOL?

JSA Summer Schoolhouse gives students access to rigorous college-level classes on the campuses of some of the most prestigious universities in the world. In addition to classes in topics like international relations, constitutional police and voice communication & political advice, speakers programs, debate workshops, and social activities aid equip students with vital leadership skills while forming lasting friendships and memories.

During a summertime with JSA, you lot'll meet and question leaders who make and influence public policy—like elected officials, journalists, lobbyists and military strategists.

Inside the classroom, y'all'll also develop a more sophisticated agreement of international relations, economic science, the media, and other important topics. Classes, taught by real college professors, are often word based and crave you to deeply engage with assigned readings. This arroyo prepares you lot for the kinds of classes you might take at the higher level and will also hone your analytical reading and writing skills.

Summer Schools are held on the campuses of iii renowned universities: Georgetown, Princeton and Stanford. Y'all'll move into the dorms, gain access to the gym and other pupil-only facilities and learn what a campus meal plan is similar. This rich experience will help prepare you for life on a academy campus and give y'all a sense of taste of the independence–and adjustments–that await at college and beyond.

Accepted JSA members automatically receive a $1000 scholarship for being a part of the organization already! Early applicants (before January) may receive further discounts. Additional scholarship opportunities are awarded at state conventions!
